If you are not a member of Credit Union SA, you can use this service to become a member at the same time as you open an account with us.

You will need the following identification documents to complete the application process:
Your Medicare card and Australian driver’s licence, orYour Medicare card and Australian passport, orYour International passport.

Our Access Account gives you easy everyday access to your money.
Our 55+ Account is available to all members aged 55 and over and offers high returns, with no monthly or transaction fees.

Credit Union SA savings accounts

Our Netsave Account rewards you with the same rate of interest regardless of your account balance or how you transact.
Our Bonus Savings Account rewards you with bonus interest each month that you make a deposit (of any amount) and no withdrawals.
Our Children’s Savings Account rewards you with bonus interest each month that you make a deposit (of any amount) and no withdrawals.

Additional services

Please create a password that would be difficult for anyone else to guess. Your password must be 8-16 characters long, comprising a combination of uppercase/lowercase letters and numbers. Credit Union SA staff will never ask you for it, and you must never reveal it to anyone.
To access your accounts through our Member Contact Centre, you will need an Access Code. Your Access Code must be 4-8 characters long, comprising letters and/or numbers only. You must not select a code that can be easily guessed (such as your date of birth) and you must never reveal your Access Code to anyone other than Credit Union SA staff.

At Credit Union SA we understand the importance of protecting every individual's right to privacy, and are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act). We are also bound by Division 3 of Part IIIA of the Privacy Act (which regulates the handling of credit information, credit eligibility information and related information by credit providers) and the Credit Reporting Privacy Code. The Australian Privacy Principles (APP) are principles-based laws designed to safeguard the information privacy of individuals. They replace the National Privacy Principles, which previously applied to certain private-sector organisations (including financial institutions), and the Information Privacy Principles, which previously applied to Commonwealth Government agencies. The core objective of the APP regime is to give appropriate protection to individuals when the Credit Union collects, holds, uses, discloses and seeks to correct their personal information.
